Tourists have overun the world's most important sites and make documentation almost impossible. They are rarely interested in the detail or meaning, they are rushed through by guides before being taken to a souvenir outlet and spoil any contemplation or  scholarship, they should be banned!

In desperation I have taken to photographing the most egregious of these interruptions as a project in its own right.
